The family-run Beacon Country House Hotel is set on the southern slope of St Agnes Beacon midway between the small town of St Agnes and the tall cliffs and sandy beach at Chapel Porth.
The country house hotel is surrounded by rolling Cornish countryside and has a broad view that extends from Carn Brea to St Ives. The hotel sits in two acres of attractive grounds within a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. There is nature and wildlife all around, and the walks on the Cornish Cliff Path are outstanding.
Each of the bright, comfortable guest rooms has a view of the garden or the Cornish countryside. They all have an en-suite bathroom, flat-screen TV, high-speed wi-fi, tea and coffee-making facilities, a hairdryer and free toiletries. The Premium rooms are especially spacious. There are also two family rooms, one on the ground floor for easy access.
The restaurant has panoramic views and Steve the chef prepares a daily menu using the freshest locally-sources ingredients. All meats are supplied by Rob Carr Butchers in St Agnes, and all fish is supplied by John Earl of Chapel Porth.

Childhood memories are a powerful thing, and I have wonderful memories of holidays in St Agnes. From surfing on the beach to walking the cliff path, exploring the old tin-mining history to scrabbling over the rocks from cove to cove.
