Hotel Iribarnia is a rural hotel in the tiny village of Lanz (also spelt "Lantz"), set in beautiful countryside just a few miles to the north of Pamplona. The hotel is built in the traditional style of Navarra and affords guests an ambience of peace and relaxation with stunning views of the village, the surrounding woods and meadows and the mountains of the Pyrenees.
On the ground floor there is plenty of space for guests to relax and meet; spacious reception, restaurant, a lounge with a reading corner and a TV corner and even a little business centre for those who have to bring their work with them.
The ten rooms consist of eight double bedrooms and two suites, one of which, La Carnaval, has a huge jacuzzi bath which makes for an especially luxurious and romantic stay at Iribarnia. All the rooms are filled with the fragrance of fresh flowers and quality bathroom toiletries. Read more about each of the rooms by clicking the blue "i" icons further down the page.
The village of Lanz lies at a crossroads, giving access to the footpaths, countryside and woodlands of Navarra, the Pyrenees and also the city of Pamplona, famous, of course, for the annual "running of the bulls" but worthy of a visit at any time of year. For lovers of nature, this area is truly a breath of fresh air.

Reviews
Reviews from Little Hotels Travellers:
Just to let you know that everything worked really well. Little Hotels of Spain would definitely be a website I'd use again when planning another trip to Spain. Hotel Iribarnia made a very good base from which to explore the area. Lorena and Jesus made us feel very welcome. |
Here's What Some People Have Written On Other Review Sites or in the Guestbook:
Highly recommended. Situated in a quiet village with lots of possibilities for trips out. The restaurant was great for both breakfast and dinner. Large comfortable room, beautifully decorated, and a spectacular bathroom. Thanks to Jesu00fas and Lorena for their attention. |
An incredible and very romantic weekend. The surroundings are perfect and the hotel is very lovely, very clean and very pleasant. |
We had 4 perfect days. The village is very quiet but itu2019s well placed for all sorts of interesting routes and only 20 minutes from Pamplona. The house is delightful, decoration and design down to the last detail. Ample breakfasts and superb cooking. Unforgettable. |

We Say
Iribarnia is a traditional caserón, brought back to life with a sympathetic blend of old and new. For one week of the year it's a great base for enjoying San Fermín without being stuck in the city. For 52 weeks of the year it's a great base for seeing all that the Navarra countryside has to offer.
A Word from the Owner
"Our intention has been to turn the family house (previously a farm) that has come down to us through the generations into a space where you can enjoy moments of tranquillity, rest and pleasure surrounded by stone walls, heavy timbers and the artefacts of the history of our house."
