Reasons to visit the Alps

Located in the south east of France along the borders of Switzerland and Italy, the French Alps are a picturesque mountain range situated in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and Rhône-Alpes regions. Home to a number of well-known towns and mountain ranges including Chamonix and Mont Blanc, the French Alps measure 4,808m (15,774ft) at their highest point of elevation. Famous for its skiing and snowboarding, the Alps also offer picturesque freshwater lakes.
