Located in the most fashionable part of Dublin city centre, The Wilder townhouse hotel is a red brick Victorian structure that evokes a perfect sense of history and heritage. Just a five minute stroll from St. Stephen’s Green, is handily placed for just about anywhere in Dublin.

With 4 star facilities, The Wilder provides a garden, terrace and lounge for guest relaxation.

The Garden Room is a great place to start the day. There is an ample choice from the breakfast buffet, featuring home-baked breads, scones and muffins, cereals, juices, yoghurts and fresh fruit. There is also a wonderful selection of hot breakfast options, all freshly cooked to order, including full Irish breakfast, eggs Benedict, smashed avocado with poached eggs, to name just a few. A selection of freshly brewed teas and coffees are available throughout the day. In the evening the hotel offers light bite options of cheeseboard and charcuterie board, ideal to enjoy with a nice glass of wine or beer.

The Wilder has teamed up with other local businesses to provide some pampering, or a vigorous workout. The Wilder Experience at Dylan Bradshaw Salon starts with a shiatsu head massage, Kerastase Kwater hair enhancement, followed by a couture blow-dry and a full makeup application by the Dylan Bradshaw professional make-up artists. Just 5 minutes from the hotel, the Flyefit Portibello gym offers day membership for Wilder guests and is open 24 hours.

The rooms and suites at The Wilder are all uniquely designed with the discerning traveller in mind. The Popular Rooms are about 20 sqm each including a 5ft king-size double bed (twin on request) and a luxury en-suite bathroom with a rain shower and toiletry products from Maison Margiela Paris. There are Accessible Rooms too with appropriately designed features in the bedroom and bathroom. Telling it like it is, the smallest rooms are the Shoebox Rooms. These have all the same luxuries but the bed is 4’6” and the room space is just 12 sqm. At the other extreme the Junior Suites are 35 sqm each with a 6ft super king-size bed and a sitting area with a sofa and armchairs. They have lovely high ceilings and original sash windows to ensure a bright and welcoming retreat in the heart of Dublin.

Dublin’s fair city hardly needs any introduction here. The National Concert Hall is a three minute walk away. The Aviva Stadium is a 20 minute walk and the Royal Dublin Society is nearby too. Trinity College, Leinster House (seat of the Irish parliament), and Dublin Castle are all easy to get to and no visit would be complete without the inclusion of the Guinness Storehouse and the Jameson Distillery. Add in numerous other museums and art galleries and your days in Dublin will be filled.
